Job Deck Support

During the early access period, Job Deck is distributed through Apple TestFlight. Email us at the address above with your Apple ID and we'll send you an invite link. After accepting, you'll get the latest version automatically.

Once Job Deck is in the App Store, just search "Job Deck" and tap install.

Hold down the microphone button at the bottom of the home screen, speak the job details ("Quote for John Smith, blocked drain in Bondi, 30 minutes round trip, 2 hours labour, materials about $150"), and release. Job Deck's AI extracts the customer name, job type, time, and pricing into a 3-tier quote (Good / Better / Best) that you can review and send.

If recognition fails, you'll be prompted to fill in missing fields manually.

Job Deck compares your draft quote against estimated market ranges for your trade and state. These estimates are starting points based on Australian industry-standard rates (hipages, Service Seeking, ABS construction stats 2024-2026) — they're not a statistical median from live samples. As more tradies use Job Deck, the data will become real-world accurate.

Bottom line: it's a sense-check, not a verdict. Trust your own knowledge of the job.

Two things to check:

• During early access: Job Deck may be in "preview mode" where the email gets generated but not actually sent. The job's Timeline will show "Quote sent" but no real email went out. We're enabling live email sending now — once your business profile shows ✓ email enabled, real emails will flow.
• Wrong address or spam folder: Confirm the customer's email is correct, ask them to check spam, and use the "Resend" button on the job detail screen.

Open Settings → Business → tap the share icon next to "Public profile". Job Deck will copy a URL like tradie.waz-ai.com/biz/your-business that you can paste into your Instagram bio, business card QR code, or text directly to customers. The page shows your ABN-verified status, services, contact info, and recent job count — anything you'd want a new customer to see before calling you.

Job Deck is built for Australian sole traders who do their own books (or whose partner does). Key differences:

• Partner/spouse web seat included — your wife or assistant can manage admin on her laptop while you're on-site, no extra subscription
• Variation signing with GPS evidence — a signed, timestamped, location-tagged record of what was agreed
• Anti-tamper invoice PDFs — SHA-256 fingerprint stops invoice-redirect scams
• State-aware deposit caps — built-in defaults (WA 6.5% / NSW 10% / QLD 5%) cap the deposit for you; confirm the cap current for your trade and state
• Free in this launch release — every feature included, no subscription required

If paid plans are introduced in a future update, they will be offered through the app stores, the price will be shown before anything is charged, and existing users will be told in advance.

Yes. Your data is stored in Supabase (Sydney) with point-in-time recovery, plus weekly snapshots to Cloudflare R2. You can also export all your data anytime via Settings → Export Data.

Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Job Deck is enabled. If it still doesn't work:

• Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition access; Job Deck uses Apple's native speech recognition for the voice draft
• Try uninstalling + reinstalling — iOS sometimes wedges permissions
