You can close your Job Deck account and have your personal information erased at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both delete the same account and the same data.
You do not need to reinstall Job Deck to delete your account. Send us a request and we will action it:
Include the business name and the email address or phone number you signed up with, so we can identify the right account. We will ask you to confirm from that address or number before deleting anything — this check exists so that nobody else can close your account on your behalf.
We respond within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity.

Why invoices cannot be deleted on request. Australian tax law requires a business to keep the records that substantiate its transactions for five years (Taxation Administration Act 1953, Schedule 1, section 382-5). Job Deck exists to produce those records, so deleting them the day you leave would put you on the wrong side of that obligation. They are locked away, no longer visible to anyone, and destroyed once the five years are up.
You have 30 days to cancel a deletion request. Email jobdeck@waz-ai.com from the same address and we will restore your account. Note that the items marked "erased immediately" above are already gone by then and cannot be brought back — photos and signed scope changes in particular.
Job Deck is free in this launch release, so there is nothing to cancel before deleting your account. If you ever purchased a paid plan through Apple or Google in a later version, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first — deleting the account does not stop store billing.
